Treatment For Wrinkles: Which Do You Prefer?
Finding the best way of getting rid of wrinkles is something that many people try to deal with on a daily basis. Just to maintain youthfulness, all kinds of treatments and strategies are used that ranges from anti wrinkle creams to injections to surgical procedures. Treatment for wrinkles is usually based on what type of skin type and results that would make the person happy with her appearance.
Wrinkles are the first and common sign of aging that many people are suffering with. Let’s face it, all of us will get them and we all want to get rid of them but there is no simple solution when it comes to wrinkle removal. There are three different types of wrinkles, and each has specific treatments designed to treat them.
The first type of wrinkles is the dynamic wrinkles or simply known as smile lines and frown lines. It is believed that they are the most troublesome of all wrinkles and often are the most difficult to treat. They usually develop each time we smile, laugh, or frown because our skin creases or folds in the same way.
The usual treatments for these wrinkles are through dermabrasion, deep peels, Laser Resurfing, Botox, Thermage, and fillers such as Collagen. Studies have proven that even if these treatments could remove your dynamic wrinkles, it will still return because of continuous facial expressions that we usually do.
The second type of wrinkles is fine wrinkles that are usually seen are on dry crepe paper skin or cheeks. These wrinkles are superficial and their removal is relatively easy through skin care, micro peels and other simple treatments like anti wrinkle creams.
The third type of wrinkles is the skin fold wrinkles that go from the corner of our noses, around our mouths, and down to our chins. They usually look like big parentheses around our mouths. These wrinkles develop within the skin fold which is due to sagging cheeks so the only way to treat them is by tightening the skin through a facelift.
Each treatment for wrinkles mentioned above have caused uniform destruction and shedding of your old damaged superficial skin cells to a new one. It allows healthier deep cells to surface while they are still young and fresh. These treatments also help organize and expedite the process of skin turnover to reclaim the skin of your youth.
All these treatment for wrinkles works slightly differently and therefore yields a different degree of improvement. It’s your decision to choose the best treatment for your aging problem but just make sure that it will do well than harm to your skin. Safety is still the number one concern of all these.
